Vegetation Fire and Smoke Pollution Warning and Advisory System for Europe

VFSP-WASE lays down the scientific and operational foundation for the Vegetation Fire and Smoke Pollution Warning and Advisory System for Europe. WASE builds on and goes beyond the existing VFSP-WACs expertise, especially in such vital directions as fire forecasting and smoke description, owing to the Finnish flagship project ACCC scientific findings. VFSP-WASE aims to eventually become a European node of the global VFSP-WAC network.
